আজিমপুর দায়রাশরীফ, ঢাকা বাংলাদেশ.
১৭৬৬ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে হযরত শাহ সুফী সৈয়দ মুহাম্মদ দায়েম (র.) এই দায়রা শরীফ প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। বর্তমানে তার দশম প্রজন্ম এর তত্ত্বাবধানে নিয়োজিত রয়েছে। সুফি বংশটিকে ‘গদ্দিনাসীন’ নামেও আখ্যায়িত করা হয়ে থাকে। ১৯৯৮ সাল থেকে দশম গদ্দিনাসীন হিসেবে দায়রা শরীফের সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধান ও এর বিভিন্ন কার্যাবলী পরিচালনা করে আসছেন “হযরত শাহ সুফি সৈয়দ আহমদুল্লাহ জোবায়ের ” ।বিভিন্ন সময়ে পত্রপত্রিকাসহ বইয়ের মাধ্যমে এই দায়রা শরীফের ইতিহাস, উদ্দেশ্য ও কার্যাবলী সম্পর্কে তরুণ প্রজন্মকে জানানোর চেষ্টা করেছেন তিনি, এখনও করে যাচ্ছেন।
আজিমপুর দায়রা শরীফের ভেতরের মসজিদবর্তমানে এই বংশের তরুণ প্রজন্মের বেশ কয়েকজন দেশের বাইরে অবস্থান করছেন। মহানবী হযরত মুহম্মদ (সা.)-এর প্রিয় কন্যা হযরত ফাতেমার (রা.) উত্তরসূরি ছিলেন প্রসিদ্ধ ওয়ালিউল্লাহ হযরত শাহ সুফি সৈয়দ বখতিয়ার মহিস্বর (র.)। তার উত্তরসূরি ছিলেন হযরত দায়েম (র.)।
কথিত আছে, ত্রয়োদশ শতাব্দীতে হযরত মহিস্বরে (র.) নেতৃত্বে ১২ জন মুসলিম দরবেশ বিশালাকার মাছের পিঠে চড়ে দুর্গম সমুদ্রপথ পাড়ি দিয়ে সুদূর ইরাকের বাগদাদ শহর থেকে বাংলাদেশে আসেন ও চট্টগ্রামের অন্তর্গত সন্দীপে অবস্থান নেন। পরবর্তী সময়ে অষ্টাদশ শতাব্দীতে হযরত দায়েম (র.), হযরত শাহ সুফি মোনেম পাকবাজের (র.) আদেশ পেয়ে ইসলাম ধর্ম প্রচারের লক্ষ্যে রাতের আঁধারে ভারতের বিহার প্রদেশের মিথুনঘাটে অবস্থিত দরবার শরীফ থেকে ঢাকার উদ্দেশে যাত্রা করেন। হযরত পাকবাজের (র.) আদেশ অনুযায়ী তিনি তৎকালীন ওই অঞ্চলের ঝোপ-জঙ্গল পরিষ্কার করে আজিমপুরে অবস্থিত দায়রা শরীফটি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। বিভিন্ন সময়ে এর স্থাপনায় বিভিন্ন ধরনের পরিবর্তন ও প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী পরিবর্ধনের কাজ সম্পাদিত হয়েছে। বর্তমানে এখানে মসজিদ, মাজার ও গোরস্থান রয়েছে।

আজিমপুর দায়রা শরীফের ভেতরে ওজুখানা১৩০১ হিজরি সনে (১৮৮৭ খ্রিস্টাব্দে) আলহাজ হযরত মাওলানা শাহ সুফি সৈয়দ খলিলুল্লাহ (র.) এই দায়রা শরীফের দায়িত্ব লাভ করেন। তার সময়কালেই দরবার ভবন ও এর আশেপাশে বেশকিছু উল্লেখযোগ্য কাজ সম্পাদিত হয়। দায়রা শরীফের তিন তলা বিশিষ্ট প্রধান ফটকটি হিজরি ১৩০৫ সনে (১৮৯১ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে) বাংলার তৎকালীন নবাবের তত্ত্বাবধানে তুর্কি স্থাপত্যশৈলীর ধারায় নির্মাণ করা হয়। হযরত খলিলুল্লাহর (র.) সময়ে বর্তমানে কংক্রিটে তৈরি ওজুখানা ও মসজিদ ভবনের প্রথম পরিবর্ধনের কাজ করা হয়। এই সময়কালেই দায়রা শরীফ ও সংলগ্ন স্থানগুলোকে সরকারিভাবে ওয়াকফ স্টেটের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়।
(বাঁয়ে) আজিমপুর দায়রা শরীফের মূল প্রবেশপথ, (ডানে) খান মোহাম্মদ মির্জা মসজিদের তাহখানার প্রবেশপথ১৩২২ হিজরি সনে (১৯০৮ খ্রিস্টাব্দে) পবিত্র মক্কা শরীফে হজ পালন শেষে দেশে প্রত্যাবর্তনের পরে হযরত খলিলুল্লাহ (র.) মসজিদের মিনার নির্মাণ করেন। একই সময়ে মসজিদের মেঝে মার্বেল পাথর দিয়ে ঢেকে দেন। সেই সঙ্গে মাজার শরীফের গম্বুজগুলোও তখনই নির্মাণ করা হয়।
কয়েকশ’ বছরের ইতিহাসের সাক্ষী ও ঐতিহ্যের ধারক-বাহক এই দুটি স্থাপনা যুগ যুগ ধরে বিভিন্ন দুর্যোগ ও যুদ্ধ-বিগ্রহের ক্ষয়ক্ষতির শিকার হয়েও আজও মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে।
